A few photos from the 2009 Residency Week at Norwich University
Dave and Cathi participated in Norwich University's School of Graduate Studies Residency Week this year from June 6 through June 12.
Dave is a course developer and instructor in the Master of Civil Engineering program at Norwich and one of the requirements for each student is to attend a Residency week on the University campus in Northfield, Vermont before graduation. A brochure for the Norwich University Master of Civil Engineering program is available to download here.
Dave and Cathi arrived in Vermont one day early and stayed Saturday night in Stowe, Vermont at the Innsbruck Inn. We then drove over to Northfield, Vermont and stayed just across the road from Norwich University at the Elizabethan Bed and Breakfast. This is a great Bed and Breakfast with 3 very nice rooms available. You should plan on staying with Rita and Tom if your travels take you to Vermont. The week was filled with student presentations, seminars and good times on campus and at the Rustic Sports bar and grill. On Thrusday we toured went to Cabot and watched them make their great cheese and of course stopped at Ben & Jerry's for a tour and several samples. After graduation on Friday we went to Burlington and enjoyed the Discover Jazz Festival on Church street.
